Lazy Brain Games » Crystal Wave

This is my first game using the Lazy Brain method, I have to say, it ain’t bad at all. The graphics are sweet and the gameplay is something farmiliar with a few of my own twists. Also features an online highscore board. Mac port by Dangerous Dave.

  1. Hey, neat idea for a games site. Sounds like a lot of work, but it sounds like you have it all planned out. Good luck (looking forward to trying these games out)
  2. Great job. I really liked it. It woulda been cool to use my dual stick controller on this game, but it was fun. I talked about it briefly on my podcast to draw some attention to it. Keep up the good work!
  3. Great little game. Really awesome work. A few things I'd recommend: 1. Crosshair. It's pretty hard to know exactly where you're shooting sometimes. It would be much better to have an actual crosshair rather than using the windows mouse pointer. It would also fit the graphical theme much better. 2. Relative bullet speed. Since the ship speed is quite fast, the speed of the bullet compared to the speed of the ship is quite obvious. Realistically the bullet speed should be shipspeed + fixed bullet speed. Currently (I believe) it's just a fixed speed no matter which direction or how fast the player's ship is moving. This is a style choice though, so it's totally acceptable either way. Personally I'd like relative bullet motion though. 3. Sometimes the player is a bit hard to see. But not too much of a big issue. Love the game. Keep up the great work :)
  4. The link to the download on dropbox is having some trouble. Maybe you should have some mirrors.
  5. Hmmm, I'm not sure, but somebody figured out a cheat :P I've cleared their scores, Ortoslon still holds the top spot :) Thanks for letting me know Blodyavenger :)
